The entire procedure takes no longer than 15 to 30 minutes so that you can return to your day right after.

Aftercare and Results
After your wrinkle and fine line treatment with Botox in North Liberty, you can expect to start seeing results in 7 to 14 days. These results then continue to improve over 2 weeks.
After that time, you can accurately assess the effectiveness of the treatment. We’re happy to make additional recommendations and injections if you would like to make any changes to the appearance of your face.
Botox can last 3 to 4 months, but this time depends greatly on the severity of your fine lines and wrinkles. Botox lasts around 3 months when used to treat migraines, and when used for TMJ, it usually lasts 3 to 6 months. The body metabolizes the chemical used in Botox over a few months, which may be longer or shorter depending on your body.
To sustain Botox’s anti-aging results long term, we recommend coming in every 3 to 6 months, or after the effects have started to fade. But many patients come in for touch-ups, events, and other treatments for even better beauty outcomes.
For the first 4 hours, avoid significant facial movements and lying down to prevent the Botox chemical from migrating to other parts of the face and body. For the first 24 hours, avoid touching or massaging the treated area to prevent the chemical from spreading to unintended muscles.
