We do have some important treatment guidelines for Emface. However, we may need to inform you about additional pre and post care instructions. At your consultation, we will share all essential information with you.

Before treatment:

• Be sure to hydrate properly and rest prior to your appointment.
• Avoid all non-steroidal and anti-inflammatory drugs at least 5 days before treatment.
• Treatment will last about 30 minutes.
• Avoid wearing make up for at least 12 hours prior to your appointment time.
• When you come in for your appointment, be sure to remove all metal piercings.

After treatment:
This procedure is fairly simple and may not require any downtime. We do ask you to avoid touching the treatment area while it’s healing. Besides that, we don’t have too many post care recommendations. However, it is always a good idea to double check with your provider or our office to see if we have any updated post-care instructions.
